Schneider National Inc. is adding 60 oilfield truck drivers to support its energy business on the Marcellus Shale Formation.

Positions are based within a 75-mile radius of Mansfield, Pa., and Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Although in business since 1935, Schneider developed an expertise in the delivery of products to and from fracking sites beginning in 2010 within its Bulk services division. Today the company has expansive Energy Transportation Services operations in Texas on the Eagle Ford Shale Formation and growing opportunities in Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas.

John Miller, general manager of Schneider’s Energy Transportation Services, commented: "Schneider is very excited to grow its presence in the area and provide stable, well-paying jobs. We have a large base of drivers doing similar work in Texas at fracking sites and the feedback is terrific. The compensation and amount of available work we provide has had a great impact on upgrading the lifestyles for residents in that area. We look forward to having the same impact in this area."
