Twin Eagle Opens DJ Basin Frac Sand Terminal

Twin Eagle Sand Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of Twin Eagle Resource Management, LLC, announced the official opening of its Evans, CO terminal in the heart of the DJ Basin. The Evans Terminal, which was commercially operational in February, is Twin Eagle’s fourth frac sand terminal and the first located in the DJ Basin. The Evans Terminal is located on the Union Pacific Railway industrial lead track near the city of Evans in the heart of the DJ Basin. It currently has over 160 railcar spaces and there are expansion plans to be unit train capable next year.
Griff Jones, Twin Eagle’s Chief Executive Officer, commented: "Operational flexibility, reliability and proximity to the wellhead are of paramount importance to our sand customers today. Today’s market requires a relentless focus on keeping costs low through efficiencies realized across the supply chain. We believe that Evans is just the latest terminal in our network to deliver a low-cost solution to our customers."
