Black Mountain Enters the Eagle Ford with Third Frac Sand Facility
Black Mountain Sand is expanding into the Eagle Ford Shale, with plans to construct its third sand facility in Texas.
The facility will be located on a 2,300-acre plot in Atascosa County, TX.
Once fully commissioned, the Eagle Ford mine will employ 75 people and produce 2.2 million tons of sand annually. The mine’s total annual capacity is already sold out under long-term contracts.
Its first two facilities are located in the Permian Basin.
