Oil prices jumped on Monday thanks to more positive news regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.
Adding to Pfizer's positive announcement from last week, biotech firm Moderna has reported that its COVID-19 vaccine had a ~95% success rate in its clinical trials.
WTI prices hit $42.03/barrel early Monday morning, which is up nearly 5% from Friday. Brent prices also increased by 4.40%, hitting $44.60 on 11/16.
Natural gas prices dipped slightly from last week, falling by 6% to $2.81.
