OUR STORY
Through a combination of strategic acquisitions and organic growth, Ascent Resources, LLC has established a leading position in the Appalachian Basin, with ownership in approximately 300,000 net acres that are highly prospective for shale oil, liquids and natural gas.
Today, we conduct our business through two operating companies in Appalachia: Ascent Resources – Utica, LLC focuses on the Utica Shale Play in Ohio and Ascent Resources – Marcellus, LLC targets the Marcellus Shale Play in West Virginia.
