Bill Barrett Corporation has closed the previously announced sale of non-core assets located in the Uinta Basin for net cash proceeds of approximately $30 million. This amount is subject to customary post-closing adjustments. The sale of the properties did not result in a reduction of the Company's borrowing base related to its revolving credit facility. The proceeds from this transaction will be used for general corporate purposes and to enhance the Company's liquidity position.
