Continental Resources has announced that it is the mystery buyer of the 130,000 net acres that Samson Resources II detailed early that it had sold for $215 million.
Asset Details: Acreage: 130,000 net acres Production: 9,000 Boepd Resource Potential: 400 MMBOEThis acquisition included 96 approved federal drilling permits and is expected to close in March 2021.
The Company intends to begin delineating and developing the Shannon, Frontier and Niobrara reservoirs with 2 rigs in second quarter 2021.
