Linn Energy, LLC announced today that it has signed a definitive purchase agreement to acquire certain oil and gas properties in the Mid-Continent from Dominion Resources, Inc. for a contract price of $2.05 billion, subject to customary purchase price adjustments. These properties provide a balanced portfolio of long-life producing reserves and high quality resource and exploitation plays that will complement Linn Energy's current assets and development strategy.
