Noble Energy Inc., Houston, has acquired producing properties in western Oklahoma from an undisclosed seller for $291 million in cash.

The properties include an 83% average working interest on approximately 15,500 net acres. Net production is 25 million cubic feet equivalent per day. Proved and probable resources are estimated to be 132 billion cubic feet equivalent (75% gas). Noble is operator.

Noble plans to double net production in the next two years with 70 additional horizontal wells.
