Northern Oil has inked an agreement with an affiliate of W Energy Partners, a portfolio company of Crestview Partners, to acquire assets in the Williston Basin for $100 million in cash.
This deal closed on October 1, 2018.
This is the fourth Bakken acquisition for Northern Oil this year.
Earlier this month, the company acquired Bakken producing assets from Tailwater-backed Pivotal Petroleum. It also acquired ~1,300 net acres in April and then acquired 1,900 net acres in June.
