PDC Energy is acquiring undeveloped acreage in the Wolfberry Play for $40 million.
The company said it will acquire daily oil production of 330 barrels of oil equivalent per day from six wells.
Based on the purchase price, PDC values the transaction at $121,212 per flowing BOE.
The announcement comes as PDC's second bolt on Permian Basin transaction.
