Recently formed Rio Grande has acquired Columbus Energy, LLC for $20 million.

Columbus is a subsidiary of Amplify Energy Corporation that owns Amplify Energy’s South Texas oil and gas properties. The South Texas properties consist of approximately 68 Bcfe of proved developed producing reserves with current production of approximately 16 MMcfe/d and over 70,000 net acres in Duval, Jim Hogg, Live Oak, McMullen, Webb and Zapata counties.
