Oklahoma City oil and gas explorer Sand-Ridge Energy Inc. announced after the markets closed Wednesday that it had agreed to acquire Dynamic Offshore Resources LLC for $1.275 billion, pre-empting Dynamic Offshore's initial public offering.
The deal includes $680 million in cash and 74 million shares of stock valued at $8.02 per share.
