Tallgrass Energy Partners, LP and Tallgrass Energy GP, LP, collectively referred to as Tallgrass Energy, today announced that a wholly owned subsidiary of TEP has closed on the purchase of a 25 percent membership interest in Rockies Express Pipeline LLC (REX) from a unit of Sempra U.S. Gas and Power for cash consideration of approximately $440 million.
