Twin Butte Energy Ltd. has entered into an arrangement agreement providing for the acquisition by Twin Butte of all of the outstanding securities of Waseca Energy Inc. for total consideration of approximately $127 million including the assumption of approximately $7.5 million of positive working capital after accounting for estimated transaction costs.
Waseca is a private company with a focused asset base in the greater Lloydminster area with 100 percent of its production consisting of heavy oil.
