(NYSE: XTO) has completed its previously announced acquisition of privately held Antero Resources Corporation, a prominent Barnett Shale producer, for cash and equity consideration of $685 million. Consideration included $337.5 million in cash, XTO common shares valued at $337.5 million and warrants to purchase another 2 million shares of XTO stock.
