Cimarex Energy has signed a deal to acquire Resolute Energy in a cash/stock deal worth $1.6 billion, including Resolute's long term debt of $710 million.
This deal closed on March 1, 2019.
The amount of stock and cash is subject to proration for total stock and cash mix of 60% and 40%, making the purchase price comprised of $960 million in stock and $640 million in cash.
Upon closing, the Board of Directors and executive team of Cimarex will remain unchanged.
