EXCO Resources, Inc. today announced the execution of an agreement with the International Paper Company’s Mansfield Mill which will provide EXCO with a long-term water source for its ongoing Haynesville shale operations in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana.
This innovative solution allows EXCO to replace conventional surface and groundwater sources currently used to drill and complete its Haynesville shale wells with process water generated by IP’s Mansfield Mill.
