Earthstone Energy Inc. has agreed to acquire the Midland Basin assets of privately held Bighorn Permian Resources LLC for $715 million in cash/stock.
The consideration for the Bighorn Acquisition consists of approximately $639 million in cash and 5.7 million shares of Earthstone's Class A common stock to be issued to Bighorn.
The effective date of the Bighorn Acquisition will be January 1, 2022.
This deal closed on April 18, 2022.
