Matador Resources Company has reported that between January 1 and May 6, 2014, Matador acquired an additional 16,100 gross (11,400 net) acres in the Permian Basin, virtually all in its Ranger/Querecho Plains and Indian Draw/Rustler Breaks prospect areas in Lea and Eddy Counties, New Mexico and in the Loving County, Texas area.
