Milagro Exploration, LLC, a privately held exploration and production company, announced today that it has completed the purchase of the Gulf Coast Division of Petrohawk Energy Corporation. The assets acquired in the transaction include approximately 1,000 wells producing approximately 104 million cubic feet of natural gas equivalent (“Mmcfe”) per day net to Milagro. Milagro now owns in excess of 264 Bcfe with an additional 400 risked Bcfe of potential reserves identified on the 162,700 net acres owned or controlled by Milagro.
