[Summary: Blackstone Energy and Sanchez annouced the close of their 50/50 acquisition of $2.1 billion in Eagle Ford Assets from Anadarko Petroleum.  The asset includes 155,000 net acres which will be split between Blackstone and Sanchez.  Current production was 70Mboe/d and 1P reserves of 300Mmboe (70% liquids). ]

Sanchez Energy Corporation and Blackstone Energy Partner have entered a strategic 50/50 partnership and together have decided to accquire Anadarko's 155,000 net acres in the western Eagle Ford for $2.3 billion.
