Spartan Energy Corp. has completed the previously announced business combination with Renegade Petroleum Ltd. whereby Spartan has acquired all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Renegade by way of a plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act (Alberta).
On March 31, 2014, the Arrangement was approved at the special meeting of Renegade shareholders by 97.11% of the votes cast by the Renegade shareholders. The Arrangement was also approved by the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta on March 31, 2014.
