What is the Olmos Formation?

Another Eagle Ford Shale neighbor, the Olmos Formation is found in southeast Texas and is part of the Navarro Group. Predominantly composed of shale and siltstone, Olmos activity is concentrated within Live Oak, La Salle, Webb and McMullen counties.
