After Unveiling $8.1B Merger Plan, ARC Resources, 7Gen ID 2021 Capex
Upon announcing a $8.1 million merger deal on February 11, ARC Resources Ltd. and Seven Generations Energy Ltd. have detailed their pro forma 2021 capital plan.
2021 Plan Details
Capex: $1.0-1.1 billion
- This is flat from 2020 combined spending (for 2020, ARC spent $343 million / 7Gen spent $650 million)
- Production: Expects average daily production of over 340,000 BOEPD (62% gas)
- This is flat from 2020 levels, however the gas percentage is higher for 2021 (for 2020, ARC produced 161,500 BOEPD / 7Gen produced 182,500 BOEPD)
Approximately 60% of production will be produced in Alberta, with the remaining 40% being produced in British Columbia.
Detailed guidance for 2021 will be provided upon closing of the transaction.
