Alta Mesa Subsidiary Kingfisher Midstream Files Chapter 11
Alta Mesa Resources subsidiary Kingfisher Midstream LLC has filed for bankruptcy, according to a recent SEC filing.
According to the filing, certain other subsidiaries of Alta Mesa also filed chapter 11, including SRII Opco GP LLC, SRII Opco LP, Kingfisher STACK Oil Pipeline LLC, Oklahoma Produced Water Solutions LLC, and Cimarron Express Pipeline LLC.
Alta Mesa filed for bankruptcy in September 2019 when efforts to avoid the move by reducing drilling and completion activity proved to be fruitless.
