American Energy Partners Spends Big in Permian, Utica, Marcellus

American Energy Partners LLP has reported it plans to acquire shale assets in Texas, Ohio and West Virginia for $4.25 Billion.
The company would acquire property containing 63,000 net acres with 16,000 Bopd of production in the Southern Permian Basin from Enduring Resources LLC for $2.5 Billion. Read more here.
The company would also acquire $1.75 Billion in Ohio and West Virginia, in the Marcellus and Utica plays.
27,000 net acres of production leases, with an expected 40 mmcfed of production will be acquired from East Resources and an undisclosed private company would be acquired in the Utica in Monroe County, Ohio. Additionally, 48,000 net aces with an expected 135 mmcfed in the West Virginia Marcellus will be acquired from the same. Read more here.
