Athlon Energy has reported first quarter 2014 production, horizontal well results, and increased 2014 outlook.
First Quarter 2014 ProductionAthlon’s average daily production volumes for the first quarter 2014 reached a record high of 16,987 BOE/d as compared with 9,959 BOE/d produced in the first quarter 2013, representing a 71% increase year-over-year. First quarter production was above the high-end of the Company’s guidance range and was comprised of 61% oil, 21% natural gas liquids and 18% natural gas.
