Azure Resource To Spud Turkey Shale Well

Azure Resources Corporation reports that the initial seismically identified drilling target, termed the Baglar-1 Well, on the Catalca Licence, Thrace Basin, Turkey is scheduled to be spudded on/or before July 14, 2012.
The well will primarily target the Tertiary, Mezardere Formation for natural gas. The planned total well depth is 800.0M. The Catalca Licence covers 36,429 hectares and is situated 30 km. west of Istanbul.
The Company also reports that a Tenth Amendment has been entered into with respect to the Catalca Hydrocarbon Licence Farm-In Agreement (as amended) dated October 6, 2011 between Cheetah-Yemen Holdings Ltd.,a wholly owned subsidiary of Emperor Minerals Ltd. and the Company.
