Bakken Update: Williston Basin EURs in North Dakota-Part 2

In the first part of this series, I produced data on some of the better producing areas in the Williston Basin.  Early focus was around the Nesson Anticline.  Much of this early interest was in the Madison Formation as a vertical target. 

More recent wells have targeted the middle Bakken and upper Three Forks and the best results are near Nesson.  Other areas have shown promise as well, although the economics are much different.  In part one I covered northwest Williams County.  Estimated ultimate recoveries are lower, but the play is shallow by comparison.  This decreases costs and payback time.
