Cub Energy Inc. has reported that, subject to regulatory approval, it has appointed Rebecca Gottsegen, as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer.
Mikhail Afendikov, Chairman and CEO commented, "Compliance management and corporate governance are high priorities to the Company and Ms. Gottsegen's experience and expertise make her the perfect person for this position. Rebecca has added tremendous value to the Company through her role at Pelicourt and we are pleased to have her join Cub as we build a strong executive management team in Houston."
Ms. Gottsegen has twenty years of legal experience representing private and public companies (as inside and outside counsel) in a variety of areas, including labor and employment legal compliance, risk management, corporate governance, compensation/benefits, due diligence and talent acquisition and succession planning. Just prior to this appointment, Ms. Gottsegen served as General Counsel of Pelicourt Ltd (Cub's majority shareholder), assisting the Company with legal compliance and corporate governance matters.
Rebecca graduated with honors from Loyola University School of Law in 1993. She is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and is "AV" peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
