Eclipse Resources went into detail in its June 2014 presentation to investors regarding development plans for the Utica play.

The company has a large contiguous position in the southern Utica. The right-side block in Monroe county borders West Virginia.  The larger acreage block straddles the condensate to gas window of the play.

Eclipse has a multi-year plan in place for development.  Most of this will be targeting the condensate and rich gas window, rather than the rich condensate due to higher returns.  Eclipse is making use of pad drilling with 3-5 wells per pad.

Eclipse will be running 6 rigs for its drilling program by 2014.  The drill time is between 15 and 23 days per well, on 6,000 foot laterals.
