Enerplus Bets Bulk of 2018 Budget on Bakken; Plans to Drill 70 Wells

Enerplus has reported its 2018 capital budget and guidance.

Details:

- 2018 Capex: $535-585 million (up +25% at the midpoint from $450 million spent in 2017)

Bakken: $401-439 million (75%) Marcellus: $53.5-58.5 million (10%) Canadian Waterflood: $53.5-58.5 million (10%) Non-Core Canada / DJ Basin Testing: $26.75-29.25 million (5%)

- Targeting 10% total production growth: 86,000 to 91,000 BOE per day

- Drill 70 gross (61 net) wells / Complete 44 gross (39 net) wells

North Dakota Bakken

$401-439 million (75% of total capex) Two rig program (unchanged from 2017) Drill 45 gross (38 net) wells - increase of 30% YOY Complete 38 gross (33 net) wells
