Exco Adds Five Marcellus Wells in Q3; Plans Delineation for 2014

Exco Resources Inc. has reported a third quarter 2013 update on its Marcellus Shale operations.
"Our gross operated Marcellus shale production at the end of the third quarter 2013 was 174 Mmcf per day (50 Mmcf per day net). Our focus through 2013 has been to complete and turn to sales our remaining drilled well inventory while reducing the size of our drilling program due to low natural gas prices.
"In the third quarter 2013, we spud 1 gross (0.3 net) operated appraisal well and completed 5 gross (1.4 net) operated Marcellus wells in Northeast Pennsylvania. Our development planning for 2014 is underway and will be focused on appraisal drilling to delineate more of our acreage base.
