Exxon Mobil Moves Forward on B.C. LNG Export Project

Exxon Mobil will spend up to $25 Billion on the construction of a LNG terminal in B.C., Canada, according the a report from the Globe and Mail.
This comes after news of Petronas' delay of a decision to continue forward with its Pacific Northwest LNG project located near Prince Rupert.
The WCC LNG project is planned to complete its environmental asessment by 2016, and engineering studies by 2017. The project will hire 6,000 construction workers at its peak, with an expected seven years of construction. The initial capacity will be for 15 MM tons LNG per annum.
The capital spend for the first phase of the project will range from $15 - $25 billion, if a marine facility or onshore terminal is built.
