FX Sees Record Revenues from Polish Shale Ops

FX Energy Inc. reported financial results for its fourth quarter and full year of 2012.

The Company reported net income for the full year 2012 of $4.1 million, or $0.08 per share, compared to a net loss in 2011 of $28.5 million, or $0.57 per share. Included in the Company's yearly results were non-cash foreign exchange gains of $16.3 million for 2012 and non-cash foreign exchange losses of $23.4 million for 2011. The Company's operating loss increased to $10.0 million in 2012 from $3.1 million in 2011. Most of the increased loss is due to the Company's increased seismic and dry hole costs in 2012.

For the fourth quarter of 2012, the Company reported a net loss of $0.4 million, or $0.01 per share, compared to a net loss of $10.1 million, or $0.23 per share, during the same quarter of 2011…
