Hawk Adds New Board Member as Turnbull Exits

Hawk Exploration Ltd. has announced the appointment of James C. Lough to the Corporation's Board of Directors.

Mr. Lough is a retired businessman who has 30 years of experience in senior financial management positions at both public and private oil and gas companies. Mr. Lough was most recently the Chief Financial Officer at Cutpick Energy Inc. and currently serves on the board of directors of two private, Calgary based oil and gas companies. Mr. Lough holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba and is a Chartered Accountant.

Hawk also announces that Greg Turnbull has resigned from the Corporation's Board of Directors in order to concentrate on other business endeavors. Mr. Turnbull has been a director of Hawk since its formation in February 2009. The Corporation would like to thank Mr. Turnbull for his guidance and contributions as a member of the Board of Directors of Hawk. The Corporation and the Board of Directors would like to wish Mr. Turnbull all the best in the future.
