Hess Dropping to Two Bakken Rigs in 2Q Until Oil Hits $60/Barrel

Hess Corporation reported its first quarter 2016 results.

Conference Call:

In its 1Q16 conference call, Hess Corp. reported that it plans to drop to two rigs in 2Q and will not add any until oil prices hit $60 per barrel. 

The two rigs will be active in the Bakken. As for the Utica, Hess plans to release its rigs in March and cease drilling for the foreseeable future.
