Keystone's Pipe Dream Edges Closer to Reality

Approval of the Keystone pipeline may finally be underway as legislation appears to be pushing through with support of both Democrats and Republicans in the U.S. Congress, according the a report from Reuters.
Currently traveling in Asia, President Obama's spokesman stated that the White House was not supportive of the latest proposal.
A House vote on Keystone is set for Friday November 14, 2014. If the Senate also approves the bill the following week, Congress would be aiming to take the decision on the pipeline out of Obama's hands.
But it still would be up to Obama whether to sign the measure into law, which would please labor unions that covet the potential pipeline construction projects, or veto it and challenge Congress to override him.
