Kulczyk Initiates Drilling at Ukrainian NM-3 Well

Kulczyk Oil Ventures Inc. has reported that the North Makeevskoye-3 (NM-3) exploration well has commenced drilling.

The NM-3 well is operated by KUB-Gas LLC, a partially-owned subsidiary in which KOV has a 70% effective ownership interest.

North Makeevskoye-3 Well

The NM-3 well will be drilled as a directional well with a planned total measured depth of 2,500 metres. The main objective of the NM-3 well will be to evaluate multiple stacked targets in Triassic to Visean age sediments. The well will be drilled with the KUB-Gas owned drilling rig recently moved from the Olgovskoye-15 gas discovery well, located approximately ten kilometres southwest of the NM-3 location. The NM-3 well is expected to take approximately 35 days to reach total depth.
