Mr. Gilbert is a professional petroleum engineer and is the former President and CEO of Gilbert Laustsen Jung Associates Ltd, now GLJ Petroleum Consultants Ltd., a major independent petroleum evaluation consulting firm based in Calgary .
Mr. Gilbert is currently a Managing Director of JOG Capital Inc., a private equity energy investment management firm. He also serves as a director of several energy related public entities.
