Chord Energy extended its 2025 execution streak in 3Q25, delivering oil volumes above the midpoint of guidance while keeping E&P and other capital spending below the midpoint. The quarter was defined by strong operational efficiency, continued progress on longer laterals, and incremental upside from marketing and midstream cost actions. The company also closed its acquisition of Williston Basin assets from XTO at the end of October, positioning Chord to lengthen inventory and push further into longer-lateral development.
