Legacy Oil + Gas Inc. reported that Aidan M. Walsh has joined the Board of Directors of Legacy.
Mr. Walsh is President and Chief Executive Officer of Baccalieu Energy Inc., a Canadian junior oil and gas company. Mr. Walsh has 37 years of oil and gas experience in production, marketing, transportation, acquisitions, finance, facility engineering and construction. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Burmis Energy Inc. from 2003 to 2008 and President and Chief Executive Officer of Elk Point Resources Inc. from 1993 to 2003. He is currently a director of Baccalieu Energy Inc. and Freehold Royalties Ltd. and a director and former Chair of the Explorers and Producers Association of Canada . Mr. Walsh has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland and an MBA from the University of Calgary . He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). In 2014, Mr. Walsh received the designation of ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
