Liberty Resources Joins E&P Data-Sharing Network

Denver-based Liberty Resources are the latest of a series of Operators to start sharing key performance data on the drilling, completions and frac’ing operations of their shale and tight reservoir wells.
Their participation in the "Rushmore Reviews" enables them to efficiently exchange high quality and reliable data with other performance-focussed Operators in the resource plays. They use this data to help them improve their well planning, budgeting, performance management and benchmarking processes.
Their data is being shared with the other consortium members who include Apache, BHP / Petrohawk, Chesapeake, Chevron / Atlas, EP Energy, Hess, Hunt, Husky, Marathon, Midstates, Murphy, Newfield, Nexen, Pioneer, Samson Resources, Shell, Statoil / Brigham, Suncor, Swift and Talisman.
Helen Rushmore, Director of Rushmore Reviews, who manage this process on behalf of the Operators, said: "It is the fact that the data on these 10,000 North American shale and tight reservoir wells is independently quality controlled, with all errors being corrected by the Operator, that makes the data set unique and the most reliable available anywhere. All of these Operators have committed to provide between three and seven years’ worth of data which clearly demonstrates how committed they are to achieving ‘top quartile’ performance.
