Midstates Increases Rig Count in MissLime After Seeing Results

Midstates Petroleum Company, Inc. has announced its financial and operating results for the three months ended March 31, 2014.

Highlights: Increased production to a new high, averaging 32,450 barrels of oil equivalent (Boe) per day for the month of April 2014, including record Mississippian Lime production of 19,800 Boe per day. First quarter production averaged 29,004 Boe per day, which was reduced by a total of 2,300 Boe per day due to severe winter weather, as experienced by other Mid-Continent operators. Reaffirmed full year 2014 production guidance of 32,000 to 35,000 Boe per day, pro forma for the Pine Prairie disposition.Achieved all expense and cost guidance for the first quarter.
