Montney E&P to Spend $100MM in 2016; New Completion Design

Canbriam Energy Inc. reported an operational update on the commercial development of its liquids rich over-pressured Altares Montney asset, located west of Fort St. John, BC , highlighted by the addition of natural gas processing and water handling infrastructure that has supported production growth that reached 30,000 boe/d in early 2016. 

Canbriam is maintaining a reduced pace of development for 2016, which reflects a disciplined approach to capital expenditures that are expected to remain within cash flow during this low commodity price cycle.   

2016 Plans: $100-110 million Capex Drill 11 Wells Three rigs Completion Design: Slickwater Frac Design 15-27 frac stages per well 20-30 meter spacing ~800 lbs. sand per foot 2,000-2,650 meter lateral length
