New Startup E&P Company Files IPO to Raise $350 Million

New blank-check company East Resources Acquisition Co. has filed its IPO, according to an S-1 document filed with the SEC.

The company is led by CEO & Chairman Terrence Pegula, whose former company, East Resources Inc., was acquired by Shell in 2010 for $4.7 billion.

The company will be looking to raise $345 million in the IPO, offering 34,500,000 units at $10/share. It has also granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 4,500,000 units to cover over-allotments, if any.

East Resources' sponsor is listed as East Sponsor LLC.
