Questerre Energy Corporation ("Questerre" or the "Company") (TSX,OSE:QEC) reported today that production testing has begun on the Montney horizontal well in the Kakwa-Resthaven area of west central Alberta.
Completion operations were successfully conducted late last week. The well was completed with 15-stage fracture stimulations in the 1430m long horizontal section. Initial cleanup and flowback is underway with preliminary results expected later this month.
Questerre will have a 37.5% interest in the well before payout and a 25% interest in this well after payout. Upon completion of this well, Questerre will have a 25% working interest in 16 contiguous sections of land in this area.
