Questerre Increases Production 29% YoY; Focuses More on Kakwa Asset

Questerre released its Q3 results. Highlights include:

  • Average daily production in Q3 was 1,643 boe/d, an increase of ~28.9% from Q3 2016 when average daily productino was 1,275 boe/d
  • During Q3 4 gross (.92 net) wells were brought online
  • Capital expenditures for the 9 months that ended 9/30/2017 were $12.77MM
Questerre reported average daily production of 1,643 boe/d in Q3. This is an increase of 28.9% from Q3 2016. The average daily production for the first nine months of 2017 was 1,270 boe/d, a decrease of ~10.1% from the same time period in 2016. In 2017, the company put more capital investment into its Kakwa asset. As a result, Kakwa accounted for 85% of the production in Q3. In 2016, Kakwa production was about 75% of the total.

During Q3, the company brought 4 gross (.92 net) wells online and expects to complete 3 gross (.67 net) wells in Q4.

For the nine months ended on September 30, 2017, Questerre spent $12.77 million. For the same time period in 2016, the company spent $8.96 million.
