Reports: TransCanada Mulling Sale of Appalachian Columbia Pipeline
TransCanada Corp. is considering the sale of its Columbia Pipeline unit, which serves operators in the Appalachian region, according to a report by Reuters.
A sale of the asset could fetch up to $1.0 billion according to sources. Proceeds will be used to fund the company's new projects for 2019.
An investment bank is assisting TransCanada in the sale process.
